When I visited Hiroshima, it happened to be the anniversary of the atomic bomb by chance. It seemed like the whole city walked to the river. We all made paper boats, and I wrote a personal message of love and peace on mine, then cast it into the river. I was with a great friend who is no longer in my life, so the memory is heartfelt. It was a lovely, synchronistic event that I’ll always cherish.
  • What keeps me coming back is watching Shizuka-chan and the people she meets living their best lives! It's inspiring!

  • Hiroshima Peace Tour. Aloha Shizuka. This was a wonderful video of Hiroshima. I visited this area back in 2019 but sadly I didn't have much time to do some of the things that you did. But still it was very moving to spend time at the museum and understand the devastation and effects of war where no one truly wins in a war. Thank you for bringing a bit of Hiroshima to Oahu. Mahalo!

“Every time I see Nipón, the futurism amazes my understanding of culture with homage to designs stemmed out of individualistic channels from a millennia ago….If it were a millennia ago or Today, Shizuka is my real takeaway 💕💕💕.”

  • I really enjoyed watching every second of this episode. Shizuka was GLOWING in this episode and the message about moving on from the pain of Hiroshima's past and bringing in the present's happiness was definitely sent in this video. I've added Hiroshima on my bucket list now because of this. Great work!

  • Hiroshima peace tour. Awesome video again and using a local tour guide to show the roots of historical and present day Hiroshima. We are from Hawaii and understand the war history. My great grandparents are from Japan. Family was put into internment camps. We realize the bad but really focus on the good to make life better for all. Mahalo Aloha
