Also known as SA-22 Greyhound, the Pantsir missile system embodies a combination of advanced technology, mobility, and firepower. Its alternate name, "Carapace," alludes to the impenetrable armor of a turtle, further emphasizing its defensive strength and resilience on the battlefield. Operating on mobile, ground-based platforms, the Pantsir missile system is designed to counter a wide range of threats, including aircraft, helicopters, drones, and precision-guided munitions. It is equipped with both surface-to-air missiles and rapid-fire cannons, providing a layered defense against aerial targets.

  • It's admirable how you speak on the ingenuity of this technology with much respect. Very refreshing indeed.

I remember when there was a conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, bayraktar drones were in all the news as an effective strike drone advertised all over the world, but it is good against those who do not have air defense in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the c1 shell clicked all bayraktars in the first months of the conflict and now someone remembers them?
  • interesting how they're shifting many of their track-based misile and artilery systems into truck based systems. Much better for Logistics and easy deployment, cheaper to maintain and fuel.
  • After the Armenians discredited the Pantsir in Karabakh, I had doubts. I am glad that in the hands of true professionals, this system has shown itself to be probably the best tactical air defense system in the world today. Forgive me Armenians, I respect you, but for something else))
  • The Russians are freaking the best at making formidable effective reliable weapons with remarkable capabilities
  • no bias just facts .. a rarity these days .. for that you have earned my subscription
  • I'm amazed the British never said the Russian stole the design from Britain

Thank you for interesting video. Pantsir is really useful system.
  • Russia didn't show their version 2 of pantsir with laser

It seems a bit of an overkill system for small drones which are now the primary problem for infantry on the battlefield. I would think that a 20mm cannon would be more cost effective and also allow the vehicle to carry a lot more ammunition.

I wonder how good the new Pantsir S1M export version is and the even better SM . Radars are better and new missiles with 30km range 18km height then anti drone mini missiles.

Nice timing for marketing - considering The Patriot's failure in Ukraine recently
  • Thanks for being truthful about Russia's military ability. Under-playing their strength is a dangous strategy.
