The first race puts the 641-hp electric Hyundai up against the 523-hp Maserati Grecale Trofeo, the 550-hp Jaguar F-Pace SVR, and the 434-hp Porsche Macan GTS — each the quickest SUV in its lineup.
And then the Ioniq 5 N races the Hyper-SUV, the Lamborghini Urus Performante! It does this in regular mode and then also in N e-Shift mode, which simulates gearshifts.
As always, Cammisa's Ultimate Drag Race Replay shows you the drag race in detail from many angles and with a slow-motion walkback so you can clearly see what happened in just 11 seconds. And of course, we provide weather-corrected, instrumented testing numbers for bench-racing comparisons!

The shots of Jason stepping out of vehicles mid race will never cease to blow my mind, idk how they edit that
-
The quality of these videos is underrated
-
5N was made focusing on fast conering capability through motor control and chassis dynamics. If put them on the track, the gap would be widen even further.
-
The Ioniq 5 N is the real deal! I work for a Hyundai dealer and got to ride in one with a professional driver around a little track. It's quite the beast of a car! It's really fast, handles well, stops well, it's comfortable, looks great & is a total bargain at its price point!! I'm hoping they'll do the same treatment to the Ioniq 6!!! Hyundai is setting the bar pretty high for sporty EV's!!!
-
“I’ve got modes, I’ve got mooooodes, in different area codes, area codesssss” is what I though of during the Ioniq mode talk
-
This car is not just a car with a fast straight line. It's even more absurd. In addition, even though ordinary brakes are used, the brake life is almost infinite by applying stronger regenerative braking than those expensive cars. The N-pedal function even plays a role in controlling the car at the corner to help it get out faster. Hyundai has created a monster
-
The least fun you can have in 5 N is the straight line. It gave me a great joy on gymkhana track today with hydraulic hand brake modification. Simply Mega!!
-
The most mind-blowing part is not the fact that this N smashs those performance SUVs in a straight line. What would get Cammisa to struggle to comprehend ever further is the fact that the N will be completely out of their sight after a couple of corners on the Nurburgring.
-
SVR will always be one of the best sounding forced induction V8s for me
-
The n isn't just straight line too, wildest part
-
There is so much more than beating a Lambo on a straight line for IONIQ 5 N. One of a very few EVs that can do two complete laps of Nurburgring stock straight from the factory (the tire might need to be upgraded for an ideal performance though 😉) The car deserves to be driven by car enthusiasts especially on corners, which is also one thing N symbolizes 🥰 What a great time to be alive and be an Nthusiast 🚀
-
This N is no joke. I wonder when these motors will make their way into a sedan? It's interesting to see the comparison between two cars with similar weight to power ratio but different forms of induction such as the N and the performante. It wasn't even close.
-
We have seen what it can do in the Nurburgring and now in a straight line.... this car is amazing
-
I've been a Hyundai hater for the last 20+ years... they were literally throw-away cars. The turn around they've completed as a brand in the last 10 years is nothing short of amazing.
-
That's so cool how it acts like it is switching gears. I hate electric cars but man, this Hyunadai is sweet. Fake noise even sounds alright
-
So tempting, but, cannot imagine the Ioniq 6N, that's the only one I'll replace my Stinger GT. Great video as usual.
-
The Hyundai is almost a 10 sec car. Fast and furious territory.
-
The 5N is a true track machine. If it were only fast in a straight line, I wouldn’t have acknowledged this car. And also, this car is the ultimate fun car.
-
”Nothing is ever on fire. Fire is always on things” Say it… you know it makes 100% sense. That’s genuinely how I feel about the Ioniq N.
