I was diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago. For a few months I couldn't eat solid food, at first for physical reason but it eventually turned in to a mental block. I stumbled across this channel and somehow Sonny's love of food has helped me overcome my mental block about eating. I can't explain it because I'm what Sonny would consider a very limited eater to begin with. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for unknowingly helping me through this struggle.

Been waiting a Korean food tour for so long! This is a great start. Though I liked the short tour before, I wanted to get to know more traditional food preparations within their provinces and not only the typical korean dishes that has been incorporated to global cuisine. ❤

Man.... I remember growing up as a little kid in Korea wayyyyy back in the day. We'd each grab a big bucket, go hit a muddy foreshore MILES long, and come back home with a bucket full of seafood. We mostly got clams and crabs, but on some lucky days, we even scored nakjis(smaller species of octopi). 3 hours spent under the Jeonra-do sun, you'd have the next 3 meals covered. And at night, we'd lie down on our lawn, looking up at the milky way. We would get eaten alive by mosquitoes, but we didn't have a care in the world. Boy, I just hit myself with a brick of nostalgia!

Sonny! I'm so happy you're back in Korea. I found your channel during the pandemic when I looked up Korean food reviews and ever since then I've watched literally every single episode on both channels.
  • OMG!! Sonny makes me wanna hop on a plane to Korea just to eat. That fresh seafood looks amazing!

우연히 보게됐는게 맛있게 드시는 모습이 흥미롭고 신기했어요~ 한국에 오신걸 환영합니다 😊 welcome to Korea ♡♡
  • Love your videos Sonny. I discovered your channel as I was hospitalized for almost a year. First they told me I'd die March 2022, and then in November they said I only had a few weeks left. I got a full liver transplant on December 7th 2022. I watched all of your videos while I was bedridden, and enjoyed them so much. Now, I can't wait until I'm fully recovered to visit some of the places you've visited. I don't think I'll go to Egypt though after your experience there 😂 Thank you Sonny! I'm glad you teamed up with your wife to film another entertaining episode!
  • Hey Sonny, What I love about your show is that it's not just about the food, you get to know the people and the cultures as well. You nailed it. Best Ever Food Review Show confirmed.
  • Woodys face popping up when Sonny said "woody" was an unexpected source of laughter, thanks 😊 😂
  • @tymesho
I always credit your editors but your Wife's filming makes their job so much easier! So love this channel!
  • They way Sunny says "try it out " in almost every video really makes me want to see him on YMH podcast
  • @sndrc9
I swear Sonny and his crew just teleports all over the world

I think places like this, is more to experience the raw freshness, literally straight from the ocean to the table rather than culinary skills. I've been here only once and I can't wait to go back!!!
