How lucky were some of us to live in a time of really great music
-
im 68 yrs old....i listen to all these old hits and i tear up....cant help it....i miss the 70's so much....
-
If I could go back in time it would be the 70s when life was simple and music was meaningful and it was a privilege to be a teenager in that era

The hardest part about getting old is looking back.
-
When I was a young boy back in the early 70's, I only had one friend. A girl named Veronica who was a year older and lived across the street. When I was around 6 or 7, she developed a brain tumor and wound up passing away in the next year. This song has always been a reminder of our friendship that was ended too soon, and I always get teary-eyed when I hear it.

We grew up listening to some of the best music ever made.
-
I see lots of comments by people like me who grew up in the 70s. Life was simpler, and we did have fun in the sun. 😢

I lived in this song as I looked desperately to find myself after 3 brutal combat tours in Vietnam. I’m 75 now and still looking for that boy that shipped out to war. He was lost somewhere over there and never came back.

Who's still reminiscing with this in 2024..?
