Nuka cola gives you gold,Just like how in fallout it gives you one bottle cap (currency in fallout) glad they did that!

The reason you get a gold from drinking a nuka cola is because if you pay attention to the animation you would see your character saves the bottle cap which means presumably a fallout nuka cola bottle cap costs one gold : hope this helps 😊
