If the books has typos and no instructions this is on track for Dr Now lol he’s so straight forward and dry😂 he probably wrote this book in his office 😂😂

I'm a bigger guy and I've been doing this diet for about two to three months now with liberties taken here and there and can confirm the weight just bled off of me. It's made me lose weight pretty darn fast, abut 10 to 14lb a week along side cardio. So far I've lost a good 133lb and don't plan to stop anytime soon. This is something you will need to be dedicated to, so be sure to ease yourself into it develop the mindset of doing it every day. Also be sure to keep lots of proteins in the diet as well, you'll need it.
  • When I started getting serious about my weight last year, I started watching My 600 lb Life when I ate my meals. That encouraged me to eat less and more healthy. I hate when people disrespect the people on that show just for being big. You have no idea what would happen to your body if you got hurt and couldn't move, then depression sets in. Thank you for not being a jerk to those people. I'm glad I found your channel. 🤗

I almost fell out my chair from laughing when you went back and re-read that cucumber salad recipe. Dr. Now said how badly do you want to be skinny?!

Dr. Now typically tells his patients no salt because they have a lot of swelling due to their health issues. Limiting salt works to bring that issue down. And, per Google, the baking powder just makes the eggs fluffier if you don't want to use milk or buttermilk.

Hey this is Wess from season 11 episode 3 of the show. Loved your video. Like Octavia said, you gotta find a way to make that diet your own. For me personally it was all about lemon juice and Mrs Dash in EVERYTHING lol!

I also think the lack of seasoning and simplicity is to help reset your taste buds. People that eat junk often have altered flavour profiles that don't recognise natural food flavours as tasty. It's good to cut right back and reintroduce flavour into your diet without seasoning.

Switch the onions for fresh minced garlic. Replace the mint with Dill. Squeeze a little lemon juice, salt, pepper onion and garlic powder. Set in fridge and come back and it taste almost like taziki sauce.
  • This show actually deterred me from eating while watching. The sheer amount of food that was being consumed by some of the patients made me physically sick to watch...and at the rate it was being consumed at was almost unbelievable. I was actually quite overweight myself when i started watching, about 248 lbs. I started eating a only a pb&j sandwich for lunch and a normal serving of dinner usually including meat, pot, veg everyday. No snacking, and no dessert or sweets. I lost 75 lbs in 4 months. This show definitely inspired me to lose weight. Ive kept the weight off for over 15 yrs now. I'm very glad to see the ones that did the work look amazing today 🙌

The cucumber yogurt is actually really good when you make it the way I make it. It’s actually Greek Tzatziki, and in Armenian it’s called Jajik. Try this one and see the difference. 😊 2 cups Mediterranean yogurt 1 cup cube Persian cucumber 1 to 2 clove garlic minced 1 tsp dried mint (or dill) 1/4 cup water (for consistency)
  • @OctaviaNichelle
Hello! I'm Octavia season 7 episode 1 of this show. This diet is insane! You have to make it your own within the guidelines of the diet.
  • I love that you were able to give a synopsis of the show without degrading or insulting anyone, that’s a high level of emotional intelligence exemplified on YouTube.
  • @froggo603
for the cucumber salad, adding garlic and a dash of white vinegar (or pickle juice) will do wonders for bringing together the flavours.
  • @XxLoreley
The baking powder for the eggs I would think makes the omelette fluffier and increases the volume to keep you feeling full. Also the baking powder replaces the salt and helps for that area of the seasoning 😊
  • @Itstrinityjae
💕Guess i'll be doing this for a full week! Keep in mind I ALREADY have videos going up before starting this challenge but i'll make sure to hop on this soon!
  • @CandyCoated96
I love Dr Now. He's honest and cares about the people he takes on. We need more Doctors like him. ❤
  • For that cucumber concoction I definitely would’ve added lemon juice, more fresh herbs and maybe even some tomato. I could just imagine what that tasted like 😂
