Video Description:
Is B12 Really Necessary?
This essential nutrient plays an enormous role in many aspects of your health from creating DNA and red blood cells to supporting bone health and stabilizing your mood by stimulating Serotonin–the feel-good hormone. It also elevates your energy level. BUT we can’t forget how critical it is for nourishing the brain and the peripheral nervous system.

So, in today’s video we’re going to talk about the havoc a B12 deficiency can wreak with your body and the extensive damage it can cause to your brain and your nerves. We’ll also explore who is most at risk for B12 deficiencies and I’ll go over some of the causes and I guarantee there’ll be a few in there that will take you by surprise. Now, make sure you stick with me until the end because I’ll also reveal which supplement you should NEVER take to elevate your B12.

B12 injections once a week, B-1 thiamine several times a week have reduced my Parkinson tremors (AKA invasion of the body snatchers) by up to 80%. Thanks.

Finally I could cure my neuropathy this year. I followed carefully all your instructions and the pain reduced to 90%. The rest 10% won't go for months. Then I did 2x Prolong Fasting 7 days this year and now it's gone. Well, perhaps still less than 1% but it's okay with me. Thank you very much Doctor, both of you are the best in neuropathy healing ❤
  • My Mother suffered for years from diabetic neuropathy pain. Now she is almost pain free with the help & knowledge of Dr. M & Dr. C. They also helped her dementia.

You must be doing it right, Dr. Monteiro. Many vegetarians I have met have been very pale and have a sunken-eyed look, with intensity & crankiness, though they have a slender, healthy weight. You look very healthy, attractive and positive. I have tried to be vegetarian, but as an Ehlers-Danlos patient, I am negatively reactive to so many foods, I just don't get enough protein.

Excellent video. Unfortunately, the medical community isn't getting trained in nutrition or B12 and so many people with deficiency are getting missed. Those who do get a diagnosis still have to fight hard to get the correct injection treatment which Doctors deny since it costs them money as opposed to pharmaceuticals where they get money for prescriptions. The world is very slowly waking up to the reality that medical science is simply utterly flawed since no one is studying nutrition, gut health, the impact of certain drugs (PPIs, metformins), alcohol, or processed foods on reducing B vitamins, Chron's disease, Pernicious Anemia, and gut dysbiosis from chronic stress. High-stress jobs can lead to poor dietary choices, poor sleep, and alcohol use to relax. All of these impacts are plummeting B12 levels and Doctors are not checking B vitamins or nutrition when presented with gastrointestinal problems or stress-related symptoms. This is madness and it needs to be exposed. p.s. the only point I would make is that no vegetable contains ANY B12. That includes spinach, butternut squash, and mushrooms. B12 is only available for consumption in animal foods and specifically red meat.

Spirulina blocks B12, in that it parks itself in the receptors of a cell, not allowing the B12 to park in those receptors. Dr. Joe (Is Spirulina Good for You (Dangerous Spirulina Side Effect), on YT. IMO, Something to take into consideration.
