I would've shit myself if I went to pick up my date and Sean Penn opened the door.

When I was in high school I dated a cop's daughter. When I went to pick her up her dad answered and invited me in. My own dad is a gun owner and I grew up with guns and learning gun safety, so I was quite familiar with the smell of gun cleaner. He had both a revolver and his colt out, freshly cleaned and reassembled. I got the message.

After what happened to Sean Penn's daughter in Mystic River, no wonder he is so protective.

One of the things my dad did for me was take me out for my first date. He showed me all the right things a good date would do. Putting the focus on me, opening doors, listening to me, not being rude to the waiters, asking me where I would like to eat, etc. At the end of the night he said to me, "I can trust you to make sure that anyone you go out with will treat you with the same respect that I hope I have shown you tonight." I think it is not about intimidation from a father, it is about a parent trusting that you have planted the proper seeds for your child to make the right decision.

Honestly I would just take a selfie with Sean Penn and forget about the whole dating his daughter😂

"When the first one came to the door." Lol! I loved when he said that. Sean Penn is a funny guy. I know he has had his anger incidents and all, but he is funny. And the fact of the matter is, he loves his daughter.

Funny, as usual.  An intense artist who gives it his all, stands by his principles and is unintimidated.  The negative rumors of the past, we weren't there, we don't know.  He is friends with Madonna.  I heard she asked him to tie her up.  Who knows.   What he has done for the human beings of Haiti is admirable and commendable.  He has grown into a person who will leave this planet, having made it better off, than when he arrived.
