  • Man the first one is incredible, not only did survive a 10,000 ft fall and 11 days in the jungle with little to no supplies, but she WENT ON TO GET A PHD AND BECOME A RESEARCHER. Thats incredibly inspiring

Juliane Koepke is an inspiring figure! Seventeen years old and not only surviving an airplane crash but finding a way back to civilization and her rescue through the rainforest makes it incredibly inspiring. She really watched her father well and learned from him, not knowing it would save her life later on. What a GIRL ! ! !

The first one, the gal who fell from a broken-up airplane, although I don't recall her name, was certainly impressive. That she survived the fall AND eleven days trekking through the jungle is amazing. None of the others, even those who survived the fall, got out of there alive.
  • These were astounding! The first one though, I knew her story and knew she had her knowledge to help her but that she still had some limited mobilty to keep on going. What I didn't know and it's heartbreaking, is that her mother survived but succumbed to her injuries before she was found. Serious subject matter beautifully and respectfully presented Be Amazed, thank you ❤

Be Amazed is the only person that can make the most scary things funny and awesome
  • Contrary to what you stated in the video, having maggots in a wound is actually beneficial. They eat dead tissue and thus actually help prevent infection. Maggot therapy is even used in hospitals to help debride wounds that might otherwise become infected.

In class my teacher made us watch this LMAOO

That's why kids, you should always wear your seatbelt.

I have an extreme fear of heights. I would've died of a heart attack before hitting the ground.
  • She got really lucky that she survived this, not anyone else can do that
  • @danuwinartha
I'm more amazed how you never run out of good content.

16:17 Fun fact: he's still alive and is 81 years old total respect for him 👍

The shipwreck folks was curious to me. One of the books that has always stuck in my head was 'Survive The Savage Sea'. Which is this story, the book was written by dad. I did an oral book report on that book in 7th grade, which was 1974. I've had this memory for a while! 😎 I remember everyone being grossed out when I talked about the turtle blood. :)
  • @TheDuke24
That woman was so lucky surviving a 10k ft fall
  • After careful thought, I would think that falling from airplane and into a rainforest would’ve been worse than the others
  • OMG that poor girl, the plane suddenly having problems is literally my worst nightmare!!! I hate flying. I doubt I'd survive for 11 days in the rainforest. Glad she had survival skills. ♥

Imagine surviving the sinking HMHS Britanic, RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic. Violet Jessop still amazes me
