Magepunk Sparkswitch vs RGX Firefly - Valorant Before You Buy

the right click of Sparkswitch is one of the best in game rn, and i personally like it how they switch from one hand to the other.

I think mage punk is better but it might just be because it’s new

I think it will be 4350 cause reaver knife was 3550 but when reaver 2.0 came out the karambit was 4350 and the same thing happend with ion.

gonna have to go for the Sparkswitch here. I've been so torn on both deciding on which one I want and the RGX is in my shop today but I think im still gonna wait for the sparkswitch. I've had friends that have the RGX knife say that after a few weeks they dont wanna use it anymore and the sparkswitch crosshand animation is too clean to not get.

RGX gives you the sleek feel with cool colours and sounds magepunk is very cool tho but it will probably cost the normal people an arm and a leg and you will mostly see it on twitch streamers or pros because of it's ridiculous price that could be as high as 6000 vp or more

The thing is, the magepunk consist of one Behind the 8 ball right after the basic opening like any other balisong, but it wouldnt be possible since the design shows its a double sided blade, which mean you would cut yourself attempting to do this trick irl. Inaccurate just like the Katana. Visually wise, its very good tho. And also that new animation, the trick is pretty easy to do and definitely doable, so thats one point up for me. Still wouldnt buy it cuz im broke. Edit : not to mention those Thumb Rollover, after doing the whole combo u would need an artificial HAND💀

The sparkswitch will be at the same price as the firefly, it got new right click and that's about it, everything else is the same, this might just be Riot trying to fix the old butterfly animation and make it the standard moving on

I have owned the rgx for a couple months and i can't use it anymore. Everybody says that the rgb when you inspect it is a good thing but it just makes the color inside the knife random and after the animation the color of the light doesn't fit with the color of the knife and i hate it. I was not around when the champion's butterfly came out so i will definitively cop the magepunk butterfly, so clean !

1775 + 1775 + 3550 = 7100 riot is just milking vp at this point.

My assumption for the sparkswitch is 4350 or 5350 if they're feeling like real a-holes

I think they could make another VCT champions butterfly knife if they used more custome animation for it + special effects (like the lightning for magepunk butterfly knife) - could make for a really cool different knife.

I have never understood why people like the RGX butterfly that much, like its not bad but I have never found it good either in my opinion its a 5/10 at best.
