  • Man, when a car is referred to as "older" because it has a CD player.....it makes me sad lol
  • @romulolopez5747
My 2012 TSX is so nice, timeless if I may say. Wish it was a little faster but it’s always a smooth ride, no complaints
  • I have an 09’ TSX as my first car and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first car. It has tons of features for its time and handles very well. I’m planning on driving it till the wheels fall off!
  • I absolutely love my 06 tsx. Double wishbone suspension and a k24a2 😍 plus it was the first year they gave it the face lift. Gorgeous great running vehicle especially if you take care of it.
  • Easy on the CD player. I'm still using mine! Should I throw them away and pay for a music service? No way.
  • @lamper2
2:14 How many others felt REALLY OLD when they heard CD's described so dismissively? "it 's an OLDER car so it has A CD PLAYER"!
  • @marsy1480
Oh my! It's my car!! Almost! I love my Accord! Got a 58 (UK) tourer diesel. Those heated seats and dual temperature control ❤
  • I still own one. I ordered it back in November 2005 my model is a 2006 6-speed manual with Navi and it's been a very reliable car. I replaced the original front brakes at 174,000 miles. I'm on my fifth set of tires and my original clutch has been replaced at 224,600 miles. I still get over 36 miles to the gallon traveling at speeds over 70mph. I keep my car maintained with the proper maintenance. It runs like a top and it's still fun to drive and I plan on keeping it.
  • This is the 2nd gen TSX. I used to own an 2004 TSX the 1st gen great car. Both TSX generations Made in Japan because it’s a Euro/JDM Accord.
  • @austinpfoster
Thank you for the reminder to check my oil. (‘04 TSX, 214k miles)
  • @outterlimits1
2:14, Scotty had made me feel like a dinosaur! My fist car had an 8-track player! 😄
  • Hey Scotty !!! I have a 2012 Scion with an AZE Engine ... I was burning about 1/2 Qt. every 1500 miles. I took your suggestion and increased oil from 0-15 to 05-20 weight ... It has basically stopped the oil loss. You suggestion worked 100 % . Thanks Scotty ... You're crack'in me up !!!
  • Hi Scotty: I have the same vehicle with 170k. Yes it burns a little oil but what a great car. Has always been fun to drive.
  • I have a tsx like this with just under 200k great car I love it. to his observation of it riding rough that has always been a complaint from people even when it came out being the more sport oriented model Honda gave it harder struts. For a more luxurious ride the big brother tl or rl would be the smoother quieter ride as the tsx is a rebadged accord from Europe and Asia but for the tsx it got the harder sport suspension making it excellent at swinging through corners which is a trait I like. its handling around corners at high speeds is insane for a car like this. Straight line speed is lacking with the 2.4 but around corners it can easily stand up to modern sports cars with no issues my only complaint is the original wheel and tire set up for the base model are tiny 17x7 wheels but the v6 3.5 had an 18x9 and doing that upgrade and some good quality tires helps the 2.4 feel stronger around corners. Some also can equipped with back up camera and parking sensors but they're hard to come by it was also available with a 6 speed manual and in Europe an AWD version under the accord nameplate was available. These cars are slept on one day I think tuner people will hunt them down and drive the price up but for now theyre pretty inexpensive and the majority of them are well maintained and not super clapped out but every once in a while I see one in the junk yard or super best down on Facebook marketplace now unlike before
  • Better Re-Check the Oil level after Scotty gets done " Road Testing " it ..
  • I have a 2006 Honda Element with the same engine with 175, 000 mi on the clock. I change the oil every 7500 and it burns no oil between changes. Have always used Pennzoil full synthetic oil.
  • @MillerMan6
Still have my 04 TSX. Had it since 09 and have 210K miles and going strong. Run into all the typical problems with the car, but nothing too hard to fix myself. Most reliable car I've owned....which is why I still own it!
  • I'm glad I ran in to this video! I actually have a 2012 Acura TSX myself mine isn't as high miles as that but they are smooth. The fact its pretty quiet inside the cabin and having good hearing makes hearing everything around me so easy as well. I bought it when it was near 93,000 miles and now at 110,000 now and never had anything crazy go on. I personally am all about being on the highway so all of my driving time with it is being mostly on highways even took it on 3-4 road trips and did very well gets good gas mileage highway driving as well my Average Fuel A would just tell me I'd get around 32-35 mpg with a long range for gas too!
