I dont think the limitations are dumb honestly, I think it helps maintain the Minecraft blocky charm when creating your own models.

As a ex-programmer myself and a Minecraft player, this is insane considering he did all the coding in Minecraft within a month which is pretty hard to do in my opinion

A tip from a modeler myself (I've been modeling for about 4 years now.) The hard coded see through bottom of a model block. placed on the ground. You can add a 1 ctrl pixel bottom, and texture it to fit with the floor. Be sure to make it 1 small pixel. If you dont, it'll start to clip in the ground... (Despite there not being a "Ground") Its weird, but it always worked for me. So it should for you! Hope this helps, and hope you read this!

I know all this is made already and stuff, but FNaF VR has accurate, accessible models of the first 4 games that have likely been exported by now. Ofc you've made the first two but for 3 you could use the Steelwool models for reference. Have a good day!
