In this video I discuss how core beliefs shape your life along with ways to identify and change those that are causing problems. This approach comes from over twenty years of work with people with various anxiety disorders.

This video is a companion presentation to the one titled “Quieting Emotional Triggers”. Viewing it first will help you understand this discussion more fully.

  • "At this point I reveal myself in my true colours, as a stick-in-the-mud. I hold a number of beliefs that have been repudiated by the liveliest intellects of our time. I believe that order is better than chaos, creation better than destruction. I prefer gentleness to violence, forgiveness to vendetta. On the whole, I think that knowledge is preferable to ignorance, and I am sure that human sympathy is more valuable than ideology. I believe that, in spite of the recent triumphs of science, men haven't changed much in the last two thousand years; and, in consequence, we must still try to learn from history. History is ourselves. I also hold one or two beliefs that are more difficult to put shortly. For example, I believe in courtesy, the ritual by which we avoid hurting other people's feelings by satisfying our own egos. And I think we should remember that we are part of a great whole. All living things are our brothers and sisters. Above all, I believe in the God-given genius of certain individuals, and I value a society that makes their existence possible." - Kenneth Mackenzie Clark, Civilisation: A Personal View

At 3:09 you mention about a video describing various types of self-talk that causes problems. I couldn't find it on your channel, it would be interesting to watch. Nice videos , they are helping me a lot.
  • I think this is my main problem with panic attacks, Ill be having a perfect day then all the sudden Ill get a memory of something I did in the past that I did not like or for me a lot of times Ill think back to the time when I had a nervous breakdown. Then all the sudden more and more of them will keep coming and ill start to panic

I meant sayin' those who hurts you, any one of 'em you could list, try to smile while you listen to them, and next step is to offer them a box of Chocolate and later sue them as a regard for them being continously against you, your progress, your career, and life.

but suggestions are amazing, you see, and, from an Islamichrist perspective, is to exchange negative affects with good ones will blueprint the brain with happy feelings.

It seemed you're describing every one of your audience. Almost everyone had experienced mentioned incidents in different events during life.
