BREAKING my Hobbywing Fusion Pro! - Traxxas TRX6 Mud Run

My own fault really, as I was trying to wheel speed the TRX6 out of the mud in second gear and the motor obviously couldn't take it! Interestingly enough though, I've done exactly the same thing with my TRX4 with no issues! Think I need an Axe system instead with thicker motor shaft!

Awesome video!!! I have a spot like that too it's just a huge mud bog with zero solid ground and I break my truck EVERY time I go there.

Nice you found the right formula mud,water, heavy RC, 6 wheels & constantly under strain. We all sense when we are pushing something to its limits Iโm getting better at recognizing situations & switching what Iโm doing just today had the Crawlers out & I get wedged a lot between rocks so I picked up my RC & moved it. Especially when the bumpers get stuck. With all that torque Iโm surprised something else didnโt break frost like the driveshafts . I managed to push my new Axial Bronco till the front driveshaft fell apart nothing broken just came apart under stress. Excellent mud run I live in SoCal so itโs pretty dry again put plenty of mud available when needed.๐ค

How is that possible? Did I get it right, the 3,17mm shaft where the pinion gear is on is broken off?

The Pro is not for such big rigs .... get the AXE550 R2 ... 5mm shaft.
