  • I know, brown isn't everyone favorite color. Other than brown, what colors do you find it hard to work with?
  • @glendaknight9017
Finally someone who understands what newbies need to learn without complicated mathematical puzzles! I'll be back!!!

I wish this video had been around when I first started. I watched loads of videos but nobody was as helpful as you are. A phrase I heard a lot was 'make your paint the consistency of warm honey'. As I'd never seen warm honey it meant nothing. Your mound upon a mound etc was much more logical to hear. Thanks for everything you've done David. I'm sure this video will help people new to the hobby.

This by far is the best video out there for beginners who are ready to pour! Really appreciate all the helpful tips and everything I need to get started!
  • @marcari1941
Thank you very much for your videos. You are a wonderful teacher. I just turned 83 years old and decided to do something different. I bought my canvas and tools and started to pour. I made some big mistakes and then I found you. I am watching all your videos now. This has been probably two months since I started. Now I am pausing and learning the right way. However, when I show to people what I already painted they love them. So, that encourage me to learn more and do it right. Thanks again.
  • I am new to this technique and out of the hundreds of other videos I’ve watched no one has explained this in such detail like you did. Thank you so so so much.
  • @ll1898
I'm one of those that have watched too many videos trying to find answers to basic questions. Thank you for covering them. Now I'm going to ty it.
  • @erussell2754
I've learned more from you about acrylic pouring than any other artist on yt. Thank you so much for teaching HOW to mix, pour, etc.; & sharing your knowledge & talent with everyone.
  • @user-rv2zw5ok3g
Wow!! This is one of the best acrylic pouring videos that I have ever watched. You have a amazing way of explaining everything in a way that makes things less intimidating. I can’t wait to start pouring. Thank you.
  • @daber4586
Thank you so much for putting this together!!!🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊 I am a beginner and was so overwhelmed as to where to even start!!❤
  • I just did my first pour and it came out amazing! However, if I hadn’t watched these videos, I would have had a hot mess. I bought a beginners set, and the instructions for mixing their medium with their paints made it WAY too thin! So I used all of your tests and got it right. I am so excited! Thank you for giving us these lessons. I normally do acrylic paintings that are very detailed landscapes. So this was a breath of fresh air 😂

I painted a little in high school, then in 2015 my mom wanted me to do a painting for her. It had been so long, I found myself watching YouTube videos and discovered FLUID ART! 300+ paintings later... I still get confused about all the different "Formulas" and "Techniques"! My studio, lol is in my 100 year old basement and the floor is NOT level... Your videos have made things much better! Thanks David!

I like to let the paint dry and then make jewelry with it. I like to catch it on the plastic side of freezer paper. When dry the paint peels right off. You can also tilt the paper to to spread out the paint and adjust the composition.

Great tutorial, much appreciated. You certainly know your stuff. Greetings from the UK
  • @HalfPastSleep
This is a really brilliant tutorial!! I have wanted to start but been afraid I would waste all my money and stuff it up - you have given me the confidence to start!
  • What a guy! My hero! After a year of buying a fortune worth of supplies, you have given me the courage to finally do a pour! I can do this! Thank you!!!
  • Starting this week David! Thanks for this video. I'm out gathering what I'll need to begin pouring. I'm excited. I'm a semi-retired professional tour entertainer and have contemplated doing this for about 5 years now. Your video pushed me into get off my behind and start enjoying a new hobby. I'll show you my first pouring. Thanks again! God bless you! Here we go! 😊👍👌
  • @daveworthing
Unbelievably, I had never heard of or seen any acrylic pour paintings before, and I'm 69 years old! Fortunately for me, l stumbled across one of your videos the other day and l was instantly hooked. I've just ordered my first couple of canvases and some paints and l can't wait to start painting. Thank you for inspiring an old bloke to paint again after so many years.😊

You are not just a great teacher, David, but such a sweet guy. I love learning from you. I also need to know the why of things as it helps me to retain what I've learned. I really appreciate all you do and your encouragement.
