It always amazes me that a group of people came together and engineered something as complex as this

It's fascinating to see the planetary gear which connects the electric motor and the combustion engine to result a hybrid. Mechanical simplicity is efficiency, longevity, and durability. In my opinion this is art and an engineering feat at it's finest.

Have a Gen 3 Prius & love it. Comfortable and convenient, with MPG close to 50. No need to plug in or hunt for charging stations. One quick stop at any gas station and it can go 800+ kilometers. Will choose hybrid over pure EV without any hesitation.

Brilliant, we just received our 2023 Rav4 Hybrid after a 11 month wait .... absolutely crazy mileage to the tank, averaging 950 - 1000km , have only filled twice since owning, may it continue.

All this engineering are so remarkable that it can be called art. It makes me believe that a hybrid is a lot better than battery cars. Also I don't have to wait hours for the car to charge up.

Me pretending like I understand what's going on 👌🏽

Totally love with Toyota hybrid car, I have a rav4 hybrid 2020 crazy high fuel efficiency single tank able to achieve 900km. Powerful and low fuel efficiency the same time. Great job Toyota
  • Impressive. Had a new Prius last week and was amazed at how great it was to drive. Comfortable, plenty power, seamless effortless progress, fine handling and astonishing MPG. A truly long lasting car as well apparently when you see the sky high mileages on used examples.

I bought a 2013 Lexus ES300h in 2018, it has the 2.5L engine plus dual motor generators. I absolutely love it, and I was very apprehensive about the CVT but it is so so smooth. Now the battery is 10 years old and the car has 110k miles. I get precisely the same mileage I did when I bought it five years ago even though the batteries are now a decade old.
  • Amazing Tech and great video. I have a Corolla hybrid and it really is easy to get over 20 km/l on open road on a small 35L tank, while maintaining an average 85 km/h speed.

Excellent talk on hybrid system, looks like a good reliable system and good reports by the media .

Can't say enough good stuff about my gen 2 Prius. Plenty room even in the back seat. Comfortable on trips loaded up with people and luggage. Love the rear hatch and stow/spare tire/tools compartment. Very smooth handling, quiet, ice cold ac. Idling is incredibly efficient. 40-50 mpg still just crossing 200k miles. Oil/filter and even transaxle case fluid changes are simple, cheap diy. Engine runs smooth as a swiss watch. My mother recently got a newer Avalon and I tried talking her into the hybrid. Now she's pretty regretful. Don't miss out, get a Toyota hybrid and leave the fully electric cars to the one percenters who need any reason available to burn money while status signaling to others. I love how the 2023 Prius looks and, of course, its highly accomplished engineering. I'll get one in 2040 or so when I can afford it. 😂
  • This video has bettered my understanding of the hybrid system. I do question the reliability, maintenance, and affordability of such a sophisticated system.

I have got 2009 prius. Old but still got 46-55 mpg. Drive me to my destination safely and comfortably ❤

As a diehard car enthusiast , to me , if Porsche/Audi manages to develop the e-fuel and F1/LeMans Hypercars/Rally1 gives good result/data about the perfomance , Hybrid is the way to go. Sure , you can still release petrol/EV , but for the best of both world, Hybrid is the way honestly for me. Both good low end and high end performance with hybrid ....and a new generation of tuning.
  • I have a 2023 Corolla Hybrid XR - this system is mind blowing! Smooth, instantaneous and responsive, it switches power modes seamlessly for an incredible driving experience. I don't think I can go back to anything less than a Toyota hybrid.

I've been thinking about getting a Hybrid Sienna for a while now. This has been really informative. Thanks!

I have a Auris hybrid. It has halved my fuel and a great car in every way.
  • At 1:51 that's something that I like to hear 👂 😄 because I just got myself a Toyota corolla 2021 hybrid and they're known for their reliability! Endurance is an important factor that i also look into, which makes me very happy to hear about the hybrid system! My car 🚗 does over 55 MPG which is a huge gas ⛽ saving money difference for
