Over the past month, we have had the opportunity to explore different areas around Southern California that has focused on capturing mainline action on both the BNSF and UP routes into and out of Los Angeles. Featured in this video are a bonanza of trains in and around BNSF's Barstow yard, rare Tier IV SD70 ACe leaders traversing the Cima and Cajon Subs on the way to the Los Angeles area, and several trains climbing up Beaumont Hill on the ex-SP Sunset Route. Join us as we capture non-stop action on some of the most important rail lines in Southern California as trains go to and fro to deliver goods just in time for the Holidays!

    Love the videos and the California scenery. I grew up in SoCal and remember UP's first generation diesels back in the 1950s and 60s. Just heard from a friend that his house burned down this past week, bad fires.

    UP winged gold... EMD flagship at the bow. Union Pacific power is all I see here at Ogden, Utah. Impressive video... trains look more important in California for some reason.

    Very nice video. Relaxing to watch. Looks like it was shot with mostly a very long lens. It makes the trains look slow. I do appreciate the lack of zooming though, which I find distracting in a train video. I wish for a little more information. Like Manix Ca; who knows where these obscure little RR signposts are or what line this is. And it's always interesting to know the routing. I assume UP K-G1LA is intermodal to LA but I don't know what G1 is, be nice if you just said so. Thanks.

    good video although the zoom or whatever it is that does it, actually makes it less sharp than 4k. nice scenery :)!
