Why the 2024 Phoenix Suns Failure was Inevitable

After signing Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, the 2024 Phoenix Suns seemed like Championship Favorites, but in the First Round against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they would get SWEPT.

You would think that a team with THREE of the TOP PLAYERS in the NBA would put up a fight, but when you’re BIG THREE are the EXACT SAME archetype (i.e., scorers) and make so much money that signing any significant role players becomes impossible, it’s no surprise the Suns failed as badly as they did.

Who Should the Phoenix Suns Trade For?
  • @ck7cu
What went wrong…. 3 guys making enough money for a roster of fifteen …. No depth. And no one plays defense

Failing to compete is one thing. But management destroyed their future for the next several years.
  • @zulunation3332
The new owner came in and destroyed the team cap with 3 players as if he was an experienced GM his first year on the job 😂

They would've been fine without Beal. That's two guys now, that dominated on a garbage Washington team for years, showing they can't do shit anywhere else. John Wall first, now Beal.
  • @BGRUBBIN
The media hyping them up to win the chip was the most annoying thing. You knew that wasn't going happen in first year together.
  • Glad you mentioned camara cause I saw him at summer league and was like man this guy could give us a little impact right now we need this, and we got him kinda as a steal. Then of course they trade him and bring back dudes that are worse versions lol

One of my solutions for Suns is to tell Beal that he will be Super 6th man next year or he can waive his no trade clause

From a Wizards fan, thank you Phoenix Suns for taking Beal and his ridiculous contract away from us.

Great video, you definitely deserve more subs than you have. Keep up the great work.
  • @theoventhief
This videos awesome, editing is great. Looks like you’ve been doing YT for years and you only got 27 subs? How’d you learn this all so quick lol

The only time a No-Trade clause benefited a team was when Kobe used it in 2007 and the Lakers ended up trading for Gasol.

We didn’t need a video to know that 3 players with pretty much the same skill set weren’t going to work😂 completely redundant. You built an offense heavy team and hired Frank Vogel who’s a defensive minded coach. You traded your depth for KD AND traded the rest for Beal. Signed Jusuf Nurkic who hasn’t been a good rim protector since 2019. Remember when people really thought this was really gonna work?😂
  • Did this man just say a top 15 NBA player ever, and KD in the same sentence?
  • @TBCLINQ
KD And Book are the only tradable assets , with some role players but Beal no.
