The OG song didn't feel right for me but this one just a masterpiece. The melancholic tone in this song is just done so correctly. This is top 1 on my favorites.

Sayori was portrayed perfectly in this mod. Even her voice feels perfectly fitting. Edit: I've never gotten more than 100 likes before. Feels fitting that they would come while I gush about my comfort character.

The original It's Complicated was soft GF trying to reach out to soft BF. This version feels more like the player trying to reach out to Sayori. Maybe it's just me, but this song has this almost frantic energy to it at times, like you're trying desperately to catch up to her, but you just can't quite make it. Just like how no matter what you say or do, you can't save Sayori. Makes me feel things, man.

Sayori is right, the song consists of happy and sad. I love this tune which is a good mashup to Down Bad from Friday Night Fever.

even though i don't know much about sayori, i can clearly tell that this is her entire character/personality as a song. it has an upbeat, happy rhythm and melody, but said melody is in a minor key. this already solidifies the fact that she tries to act happy and cheerful, but has some dark secrets and a terrible mental condition that impedes on her life constantly, just as the minor key impedes on the otherwise happy song. the way she sings it also feels extremely sentimental, like she's learned how to communicate with BF through singing and is explaining to him how hard her life is. not to mention the small details like the fact that some of the held notes she sings start to fade out or wobble a little bit, almost like she's gonna start crying as she sings, but is keeping it together for one last song. (yes i know i'm late as hell but i love doing deep comments like this about FNF songs)

I was so excited when sayori said the phrase "its complicated". It was freaking heartwarming to listen this song in such a fantastic remix version. Great job!

As soon as I realized what song this was I almost cried. They even kept the best part. 1:22 If you pay attention to the dialogue it shouldn't be too complicated to guess which song it's gonna be. ( Pun 100% intended.)
