US Vice President Kamala Harris sought the Democratic nomination for the 2024 presidential elections after President Joe Biden dropped out. Biden ended his bid for a second term and endorsed Harris on July 21. Harris said, she is “honoured to have the president’s endorsement” and intends to “earn and win this nomination.” Reacting to a potential face-off with Harris, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said she “will be easier to beat than Joe Biden.” Trump and his campaign had also attacked Biden soon after he withdraw from the presidential race.
