No one cross shops a Mac vs Windows laptop. They are two different camps for different types of users.

So I used to work for Microsoft Stores (when they were a thing) and I saw plenty of people (more students) cross shopping between Mac and Windows. For me it was easier to sell the pros over Surface Pro vs iPad, especially at the time, im like, "Hey, let me show you how much more you can do with this than an iPad!" This was back in the long long ago (pre-covid) so Im not sure how they do it anymore.
