In this video, I use Photoshop to create 3 new app icons for popular brands! This is a whirlwind of painting, shading, and throwing together every texture under the sun. We've got some custom illustrations and a lot of photo editing tricks too!

With the world slowly starting to hate on minimalistic designs, it is a matter of time where realistic stuff like Y2K or Skeumorphism will return back in principle in design. And you have perfectly captured the old and gold days of the old iPhone Icons and aesthetic.

These icon designs honestly made me shed a tear at the nostalgia they have brung me, I remember the 2010's were just starting to begin, and I'd play Angry Birds on my Aunt's IPad, and in the process, just admiring all those incredible app icon designs while she flipped through her home screen; amazing Job at these!

I used this video as a timer for my cookies. L-...Like they are supposed to be in the oven for 10-11 minutes so this is perfect.

As someone who was an app designer in the skeuomorphic age of design, it was great seeing such detailed design again! Though, better than a lot of what was seen then.
