That, "yeah, well... I didn't know that..." was perfect.
-
i been hittin fam witha "i'm literally never sober, why would i get behind a wheel"
-
PSA: Spending money on a car, insurance, repairs...etc is more often than not far more expensive than using public transport (dependent on where you live of course)
-
I also don't have a license, I love public transport and spend on it like $5 a week, so that's definitely much cheaper
-
$200 a week? Somebody took "uber everywhere" to their heart
-
26 years old and don't have a license or car, public transport is pretty cheap here and i don't really desire to go anywhere special either. Paying for car insurance and fuel is much more expensive so having a car makes it 10x harder to save up for a home which is more important

For a moment I thought "Canbramatta" is a made up place mixing Paramatta and Canberra but I looked it up and Cabramatta is actually a real place
-
Sounds crazy for public transport to be more expensive than owning a car. A 365-day subway/tram/bus/boat/train ticket for the the whole Oslo region is $1300-3350. Meanwhile a car easily costs over $10k/year
-
As a resident of South West Sydney I wasnt expecting a Cabramatta mention from Adelaidians but I feel seen.
-
I am that friend. And yes, I never go anywhere
-
I'm nearly 18 and still don't have my license, but I just don't feel like I really need one because I just take the public bus to meet up with my friends and I'm fine with it, and it literally costs me $1 for each bus ride, and also the thought of learning how to drive is just terrifying to me.

I don't leave the house, that genuinely fixes this issue
-
To be fair gas prices these days make it more expensive than public transport
-
You can’t just add Masayoshi Takanaka to the end of this video and not instantly become my best mate
-
Finally someone that understands me. Thank you Jaxon

I haven’t had a car for nearly a decade and it’s all good because I’m saving $ and own a house. Public transport costs me about $25 a week in NZ and the occasional Uber ride doesn’t hurt the bank either. Have my license and just rent a car for trips, it’s chill ☺️

Your Friend That Doesn't Have A License *in a suburbian hellscape like Australia or North America

Public transport in nsw on opal is 50 bucks a week or 2.5k a year. No car costs less than that a year to run in petrol costs, tolls and insurance
-
Purely a problem in car centric places like the US and Australia. In most places in the world, public transport rocks
-
I genuinely want to drive but I cannot get my anxiety to shut up the “I am driving a one ton death machine if I stop paying attention for a millisecond” thought. I took lessons but never did my test because I just couldn’t calm down.
