pt1 Summer means camping, lets get the F350 w/ Lance 11'6 started up cleaned up and ready for summer

Published 2024-05-17
This is a 1995 Ford F350 crew cab 4x4, long bed XLT with a Roll A Long package that has only 57,000 miles on the clock. The camper is a 1999 Lance 11'6. It currently has 100w of ACO Power solar on it, a Champion 4650 generator and two years ago I converted it to a dually. It's been parked for the last six months. But it's time to get it fired up, cleaned up and ready for summer.

Those eye hooks are not notoriously problematic. They can pull out due to water damage weakening the wood into which they screw. Your ratchet straps are not only going to damage paint but are putting load on the jack brackets they weren't designed for and are defeating the spring-loaded feature of your happijack tie downs.

Your jacks don't appear to have swingout brackets. They're required for DRW applications.
