I was fortunate enough to be at the conference. I didn’t talk to the guy sitting next to me the entire show. When we saw chief i said “chills” and the guy next to me said “fuck yeah dude!” And started tearing up.

There's something about this trailer that I think everyone always overlooks, and I love it because it's just a minor detail. When we first see the pilot, the doors jam behind him and he struggles to open one side; the other side stays "closed" and it seems like he never went back to try and unjam the thing. Then, when it cuts to Master Chief, we just see him effortlessly close the other side, as if he was just pushing aside a sliding door. It's a minor detail honestly, but it's nifty nonetheless.

I legit love the subtle way they show time passed in the trailer. When the message from his wife started at full battery to empty, and his beard went from nicely trimmed to thick as hell.

When I first saw this trailer I was like "oh new generic sci-fi game" and then I saw Chief and went "OH SHIT IT'S HALO"

The fact it took two years proves how much they were dedicated to getting it right
