It’s crazy hearing Hamilton being asked about next year so early in the season. It’s not even summer break yet lol. I have no issue with this, in fact I’m delighted the FINAL BOSS is coming next year but he’s asked more about Ferrari than he is upgrades on this year's car.

It’s well known that Newey has stated he had three things he’s long wanted to do at some stage in his career. Work with Alonso, work with Hamilton and work with Ferrari. If ferrari want him, which they obviously do and have done for some time, it seems like a no-brainer, assuming the terms of his employment and standing within the team are agreeable. That said, the cost cap will have a potential influence on his personal package, which was part of the reason for Red Bull F1 having a rather unconventional working partnership with him. Personally, I hope he does go to Ferrari, as I’d like to see the sort of impact he can have. It could make for a perfect conclusion to both his and Hamilton’s careers if he worked his engineering magic, aid in the improvement of the 2026 Ferrari, with both him winning a long-converted Ferrari championship-winning car and Hamilton ending his driving career with 8 titles.
