Did you know I've made over 800+ other videos on YouTube? Hit that SUBSCRIBE button and watch another Barnacules Nerdgasm video right after this one! ๐Ÿฟ Taking the Chasing Gladius Mini 4K underwater ROV through it's paces from a dock then from a boat in the middle of Lake Washington exploring a World War II wreck over 100ft beneath the surface. I'm only SCUBA certified to 60ft so this drone can dive up to 330ft and go way deeper than I ever could.

    Barnacles with Barnacules ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  • THIS is where we should concentrate our ambition technologically.... in furthering the capabilities and capability of underwater drones that can go deeper and see better, further than any before it. This Is how we will explore our oceans.
  • From a diver that does marine life surveys at this underwater park (seacrest): โ€ข School of silver fish under the dock with the black vertical stripe: Pile Surfperch โ€ข The "interesting creature": actually a cluster of eggs if that's what you were referring to (from a nudibranch I think) โ€ข What you called a sea slug (next to the starfish): Giant plumose anemone with it's mouth/tentacles pulled in. โ€ข Fish generally eat small crustaceans and smaller fish. Not the stuff you see on the pilling however there are other invertebrates that can eat all that good stuff. โ€ข "crazy thing on screen" are actually feather duster worms, not anemones. Many marine worms create calcified tubes like you see for protection. โ€ข Rockfish: Brown Rockfish (you got that one - nice job!) Also... they are called pilings, not pylons :-) Fun demo, thanks. โ€‹@UC1MwJy1R0nGQkXxRD9p-zTQ
