  • My favorite 2:00- "Food is not a philosophy, Food is not a religion. Food is a practical solution for this body."

I went vegan for the animals once i became aware of the animal exploitation suffering and killing of them nearly 12 yrs ago. I am nearly 69 yrs old and at my fittest and healthiest. Humans do not need to consume the dead flesh or the milk from another species which we do not need but have been conditioned to consume. When we educate ourselves and know better, we can live and be better. The best life style change anyone can make is to educate yourself and go vegan, for the animals, for the planet, and for our health.

Veganism is not a diet, it's not about food choices. It's about acknowledging and respecting the individuality of nonhuman sentient beings. They only have their life, and we «unnecessarily» rob it from them. We are indoctrinated into this thinking and behavior, in a system built on their exploitation. But we have choice. We can question and unlearn the supremacist system of thinking, and challenge the inertia of animal use. Animals don't exist for us to use. They are not resources for food, clothing or entertainment. They «ALSO» deserve the fundamental right not to be property, not to be enslaved, commodified. Embrace nonviolence. Go vegan 🍀

I turned vegan 4 years back for my health but I’ve stayed vegan because I just can’t bear to see the suffering to which animals are subjected to while bringing them to our plates. My medical bills are almost down to zero. In the last 4 years I’ve had fever twice and cold twice. I still can’t believe veganism could be so beneficial to me. Weight loss and increased endurance are the side benefits

That means, if 'Save Soil' is really a core agenda (given 77% land is used for animal agriculture) Sadhguru should definitely talk more and more about food and diet at every pit stop

Good on ya, Sadhguru, for educating people on choosing a wiser and more compassionate lifestyle that is good for you, the animals, other people and the planet. Been vegan for 9 years and my ONLY regret is not having done it earlier.

Animals are not food. They are our neighbours, our brothers and sisters.
  • Animal agriculture requires more crops than eating plants directly.

🌱Vegan for the animals, for the planet, for the humans 💚

THE BURNING PLANET's SOLUTION: - Even if we plant 1 million trees every year, it will take them years to grow. - The climate destruction rate won't wait until these trees grow. - Also, not all of the planted trees will actually grow due to unfavorable situations. - It makes a lot more sense to not chop the existing billions of trees for raising trillions of animals for meat production in the first place. - Simply GOING VEGAN can stop more than 68% of the greenhouse gases that are emerging from these many animals. We can never be too ignorant and selfish that we only care about our taste buds, especially when the whole planet is burning with everybody in it.

food is not a phylosophy to lion and killer whale. but definitely food is a phylosophy to civilised man. sadguru can honestly say that he is not willing to annoy non vegetarian rather than talking like a politician.
  • @mariap2129
Yes I agree. You have to experiment your self. I did. I was wegan I got sick in various ways. Now I know. I've been carnivore the last year and I am autoimmune disease problems free
  • @ayush.raj_.
He knows everything, but doesn't want to speak the reality. Please be Vegan for animals 🍏💚
  • @mmabagain
It seems to me that human teeth shows us we are plant eaters. Our "canines" are nothing like a true carnivores canines. We have molars for grinding plants. Carnivorous animals have sharp back teeth for slicing meat.

I don’t agree with him We must be vegan Vegan is our design diet And also connect to our natural instinct of loving animals and not being violent Also Is ancient religions such as Hindu Zoroastrian Paganism and Buddhism all not allowing to kill Or take life and consume any thing come from suffering So our diet accoutring to our long history every part of the world It was vegan Or vegetarian But mostly vegan So we can not eat what is best for us If we eat dead-body of bings who being captivated tortured bad treated and finally by force executed in front of their Familly or kids So well I don’t think I can relate to sad guru Who fail to make this clear the our diet is vegan He is Bussiness man Not really yogi 🧘‍♀️
