Fun Fact: - It took Nazi Germany 4 hours & 20 minutes to defeat Denmark.
  • Today is August 1st, 2022, which marks this video 9 Years old! To me it is unfathomable of how much research he put into this and even with the almost decade old video it is still one of the most accurate even with more updated resources. When you think of the video in that perspective, you learn how to appreciate what these great mappers have gave to us! EmperorTigerstar, your hard work will be recognized and your attention to this community you gave was remarkable. With those words I want to say Thank You.

What we want next: Invasion of Denmark: every second
  • BTW For those who are wondering about Yugoslavia joining the axis, then leaving, then being invaded. It is because 2 days after Yugoslavia joined the Axis, a coup occurred which replaced Prince Paul with King Peter II.

The three forces of World War 2, the axis, the allies, and Finland.
  • @irvinyi3654
2:43 Iceland joining the Allies was clearly the turning point of the war
  • Two observations 1. You really chose the best music, the first song really sets the scene and the way the music changes when Germany invades Russia is chilling. 2. Finland is my boyfriend trying to decide what to eat for dinner.
  • It's insane to think that 20-something miles of sea kept Britain from being overrun. I had relatives who were lived through WWII and still cannot imagine how stressful it must have been dealing with that for years on end. We still find unexploded bombs now and then, and some areas have bomb craters to this day.

You can really feel the grinding halt the Axis had winter 1941-42, the buildup for the offensive into Stalingrad, and just how exhausted they were by D-Day that everything started collapsing left and right. They held Europe in a grip so tight it basically broke their own hand

It's 2021 and I still came back to watch this exact version just because of the nostalgia, the music and the different atmosphere this video creates
