to call Russia a democratic hyper-power tells me something about the commenter, just not sure what
  • 8:51, 9:51 etc What a horrible piece of guest. Almost acting like someone is threatening her. It's a news-discussion, it's normal if somebody interacts with you for gods sake. Please don't invite her again France24. Find somebody else with the same viewpoint that she stands for, but at least somebody that understands that a conversation isn't a threath.

How many countries in the EU will want France to be their security guarantor? If France could defend itself, it wouldn't be a part of NATO. France has donated very little military aid to Ukraine, yet Macron had the audacity to say that the West should be open to sending troops to Ukraine. Macron and the EU can send troops to Ukraine. It doesn't have to be under NATO.

It's a messy debates. The moderator should limit their speeches in minutes and not jumping from different subjects.

France is painfully coming to terms that they are an insignificant country with no influence in the world, now not even in Africa.

Germany should just leave Euro and get their own local currency. Than Italy, France and Greece can play their own games together!
  • A good start would be to get Europe to spend more of its own GDP on its own defense and build up its own arms industry.

you gotta love how easy it is to figure out who is under putin's thumb... it's easier than finding waldo. Also, the lady that wants appeasement, go back to school and learn what happened between WW1 and WW2

Ukraine needs its arms, and unkowningly arguing their citizens should fight street to street as under-equipped militias in an entirely occupied ukraine is offensive. They need help, not abandonment in the guise of goodness.

  • @pazitor
I wish these speeches were not from a podium in France, but from a meeting of heads of state.
  • @sparks1792
