I live in Spain, it's cultural, they bring the dishes out as they are ready from the kitchen. You don't want them like that, you tell the server, and they'll bring them as you want them.

Hi Kristen, excellent detailed review. Regarding the table for two number of portions, that is exactly something I would have noticed too as I like a good deal and I don’t want to ever feel ripped off. You’re not shy…maybe next time at the end of the service, you could ask the server how the portions are determined, table for 2-3 gets x # servings, tables for 4-5 get x # servings for example. What we don’t know about the table of two is whether they had someone in their party that cancelled at the last moment with a non-refundable prepayment. Now I’m curious too.

Restaurant server, here. I think that they brought the food quickly to make sure that you have time to eat and enjoy the food so you aren’t distracted by the food so you can enjoy the show.

I agree about the portions. As i watched it didn't seem like enough for 3 people, especially if you are each paying. Thanks for the honest review!

As I watched longer you answered my question. Coming with 2 or 3 people total you are getting the same amount. When you said you had to share the final olive or whatever I thought something was fishy.

Looks great. Getting my psyched for my upcoming trip to Costa Del Sol Spain. We plan to do a tapas tour of Old Town Marbella. I do wonder if they are careful serving you all family style that you are getting a good amount.
