For me fans need consulting on this and before any discussion of games being played abroad happens they've got to remove the 3pm blackout so UK fans can watch every game here like everyone can outside the UK
  • @HTPZ
The fact we can’t even watch most games on Tv, like 3pm on Saturday is a joke too.
  • @Patriceclaffey
Absolute disgrace! Not a chance should this ever happen! We still have a stupid bloody 3pm blackout that nobody does anything about but we can go play matches all around the world… jog on!!

I'm an American Bournemouth Supporter and I think this is outrageous! I'm a fan of the ENGLISH Premier League, not the World Tour League.

No thanks, im a Liverpool supporter from Australia and i only want liverpool 2 play their games at Anfield and to play the opposition at their grounds
  • @philleyland1847
If Sadiq Khan thinks it's a good idea then it must be a shocker 😂

I absolutely hate the "Americanisation of European sports. It will destroy the feel of the game which is what creates loyalty
  • @SirHargreeves
They are treating it like a Taylor Swift concert, where an American singer tours the world so all the fans can experience a show.

As a Canadian Liverpool fan I think this is f*cking stupid. Exhibition games are across the world fine, of course. Interrupting the actual PL season to play games overseas is the most boneheaded idea I've ever heard.

I am not British but the biggest thing the UK still has is the footballing culture. UK has already lost so much influence in the world culture and taking football from them would be the final nail in the coffin.
  • @ronweasley1354
American fan here. We already have preseason friendlies. No need to bring the actual games here
  • What has this to do with the London mayor? He needs to get the bins emptied and cut crime. Not get involved in sports teams in other parts of the country. Leave football as it is. Khan is not a supporter of any team if he wants this to happen.

Liverpool is in England if an American wants to watch a game then they can fly over or support someone in their own country
  • @Lundershot1
British fans are the reason the atmosphere is so elite in the premier league, we don’t want more tourist who sit there with their prawn sandwiches clapping like there at the ballet
  • @franklerch1012
calling compulsive greed „progress“ is … interesting
  • The disconnect between the traditional fans and these corporations/clubs will only get bigger and bigger. It's all about money now.

As an American Liverpool fan I would love it. I think it would be completely unfair to UK citizens.
