Seeing him as a kid after leaving that treatment center was kinda heartbreaking.

Seeing "MR PRESIDENT GET DOWN!" pop up in the live chat while Daniel repeatedly strikes himself in the face is the funniest bit of dark humor I've seen in a while

As someone with schizophrenia that lives independently and has a good sense of awareness, I don’t think this man, as he is now at least, should be free on the streets. Maybe he can change with medication and treatment, but as he is now, he’s a massive danger to himself and others and needs institutional help. Desperately. This is genuinely scary when you remember he’s wandering the streets.

the fact that he is only 24 years old is insane too. dude looks like he is easily pushing late 40s.

one of his quora posts was: „why do i keep getting banned from a location after i apply for a job there“ i wonder what his application looks like

"Because of my autism, my grandmother died of cancer." He said that on a live mic. At a pro-choice rally. Dude I cried. He's a living Adult Swim character.
  • I love how out of everything this guy did. Adopting a dog was the last straw for the subreddit😭😭

This hurts to watch because my uncle is just like this. A VERY delusional schizophrenic manic bi polar person. Walking the streets, stealing cars cause he thought he was in GTA. So many sad stories. It took over 10 years to be able to get him into a mental facility long term. Help is hard to come by for people like this.

The ONLY reason I DO feel bad for Daniel is that he likely could have had a very different life had he not been abused as a child. His whole story just makes me sad to see a life wasted. Parents, be good to your children, no matter their disabilities or shortcomings.

I get the feeling that Daniel Larson probably ISN'T the strangest thing a security guard has ever discovered in a Las Vegas casino bathroom 🤔

I don’t think he cognitively developed past a pretty young (7,8,9) age. That exit interview for the children’s home he graduated from, he is able to retain information but I don’t think he is a able to process a lot of what is told to him. I think he just repeats back what he hears people say in order to appease them. The way he looked over to his mentor off camera and smiled is because he was checking to make sure he was reciting the words correctly. I’m guessing he got an approving thumbs up and smile so he was proud of himself and smiled.

It makes my heart hurt seeing him as a little kid and talking about how the program he attended helped him understand his disabilities and how to properly cope with them, and seeing foul he's become since then.

This whole story is so sad and frightening. Daniel should obviously be institutionalized or at the very least in assisted living. Not only is he a clear danger to minors and whoever happens to be nearby, he very obviously cannot take care of himself on even a basic level. We will always have unhinged people, and we will always have predators, but the fact that our society just allows them to run loose like Daniel is a failing on a systemic level.

You can judge a society by how they take care of their weak.
