Did he just slide in calling it a 'Fiata'? His 2019 Miata video is almost a play by play recap of this video. Down to bawking at the cup holders, turn signal volume and storage options.

Fun fact: this was originally supposed to be a revival of the Alfa Romeo Spider, but midway through production, Fiat-Chrysler's CEO Sergio Marchionne decided to keep the manufacturing of Alfa Romeo vehicles entirely in Italy, and so they decided to bring back the Fiat 124 name from the classic '60s car given that the company's previous roadster, the Fiat Barchetta, had gone out of production all the way back in 2006 and felt like a successor was needed. The Alfa Romeo Spider project ended up evolving into the 4C sports car, developed from a concept and built by Maserati, the luxury car division of Fiat.

Why does it always sound like you have something to say after 'oversteer' in your intro. Blink twice if you're in trouble, Doug. We got you.

i like the manual quick top better than electric one. lighter, faster, more reliable, cheaper, probably a lot cheaper to replace.

Looks more stylish than a miata though... if it's as light, can be quite fun propulsion drive to drift a little !

My friend bought one, and I got to drive this car for a weekend. Let me tell you, this is a very fun and thrilling little car to toss around. The handling is precision sharp. The power delivery is thrilling and even scary at speed. The faster you go, the more this engine keeps pulling. The 6-speed manual is sublime, and it's fun to run through the gears. You ride very low to the ground. I would say the only negative is the interior space. I'm 5'9" and I adjusted my seat all the way back. Getting in and out requires a bit of contortion. I'd image if you're any taller than me, you're not going to be able to stretch your legs all the way out. Overall, a great sports car experience.
