Preppers talk a lot about op-sec. I don't concern myself with that any more. I felt that it was crucial that all my family, friends and neighbors be aware that they need to prep. You just can't do that and maintain secrecy. That said, everyone within my realm has been warned. They know the stakes. In a SHTF, WROL type event, I will make exceptions for a few folks that I know cant afford to prep. As for the rest, if they show up unprepared, they are shit out of luck. I will send them away once with a warning. The next time they show, they wont be so well graced. People know what they should be doing. In the current climate they shouldn't need to be told. If they choose to live it up while I sacrifice, then they get what the paid for. Because these people know my policy, my conscious will be clear. The few people I know who are currently making efforts understand that this is my place, as are the rules. Those rules will be hard but just. I will accept judgement for being hardhearted, if it keeps my bunch alive.

Had a big summer here last year. A tornado went through and uprooted a bunch of monster oak trees. We now have no less than four years supply of firewood. We also built another out building and finished Mary's place. And developed two potable springs and piped them to her place and ours. (Had another heart attack in there somewhere) Put in nearly 900 pounds of potatoes too. We also realized how deficient we were in canning supplies. Uncle Sam helped us out with that. You heard about the canning jar shortage last fall? That was partially our fault, lol. And the coming seed shortage. We might have had a hand in that too. Lol

Well its about bloody time

its a good excercise to take a deep and very honest look at yourself and the true aspects of your reality. its the only way you can hoestly answer questions like these. its the only way to see holes in your plan and your preps.

It was more a sustainability question I thought. Better to say if you cannot go to a store or order anything again when do you feel real pain? Q3 The question really is will you kill people if they won't go away Q4 Is anyone? In the West? Q5 So many up here have NO heating back ups other than to go to a hotel. I disagree about heat. It goes on and on for more than a day and can be very dangerous especially if high humidity Q6 Medical is overrated. Learn obstetrics first or you are not medically prepped. You recover or not in most total collapses Q7 None of us really know this until it happens. Previous situations suggest to me I will be fine and Kitty won't be. But who knows? Q8 Are any preppers not self identifying as The Leader of a group? Serious question. Will others follow your lead when it goes badly wrong? Why not have others assist with the decision on punishment? Why make the decision yourself? With hold food as they are lazy. They knife you a few weeks later. Best to have punishments from a group. As leader stay out of it.
