I really hope that this game wont be forgotten
-
You best forget about the "road home", Meat. Around here all the roads lead to nowhere.
-
Seeing the road is one of the most relieving moments, epecially with this music.
-
It gives the feeling of faint hope the protagonist feels walking this road even if it is obvious that nothing will be as same as before
-
That feeling, when you dont actually know if this a another dream or not, this world, i guess its living his own life
-
One of the best tracks from the game, thanks for sharing this
-
This music whispers “You’re trapped and you don’t even know it.”
-
Darkwood is fucking amazing even though it scares me. I’ve watched so many horror films and played loads of horror games, but this is one of the only ones that is genuinely scary bc of the environment and not jumpscares. It will always have a special place in my heart as the best horror game and definitely on my top 10 for all the games I’ve ever played. I really hope it’s not forgotten.

Spoilers below. This was the eeriest music in the game to me, especially when you're actually on that road and see it littered with the petrified bodies of the people and animals that tried escaping the Woods...
-
All roads lead deeper into the woods.
-
My last chance, road, and it's already blocked with those woods..
-
Spoilers below I was mind blown when I found out every character you meet said the same thing..."Roads are blocked off by woods" "Road will lead deeper into woods" "Road to nothing" "Road's been closed off by them trees" EVERY character the protagonist meets literally gave out a hidden spoiler to the ending, which is insane.

one of the best I've ever heard... thank you mister artur kordas
-
This actually plays in the prologue - I only noticed on my second playthrough.
-
One of most depressing tracks I've ever heard. It's so gloomy and it captures the world of Darkwood perfectly.
-
This might actually be the singular best video game track of all time.
-
This soundtrack also plays when in the hideout
-
Darkwoods soundtrack is bone chilling, like it just touches your soul, the ambiance takes over which is a big sign of a masterpiece. Darkwood is the only game that i would pay faaar more than the original price.
-
This whole soundtrack belongs in my new playlist “music to shit with the lights off”
-
Coming back to this again after many years, in and out, this track is now in GAMMA too, and I still absolutely think its amazing, might be one of the better darker ambience tracks ever made out there. Not much special for one of the indies with the best audio design that is.
