The 2024 Lucid Gravity (pricing TBD; under $80,000 USD starting), is a brand new seven seater luxury EV expected to arrive late next year. While its specs aren’t fully finalized yet, Lucid anticipates the Gravity to have a range of over 440 miles (708 km) and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds. It has a cabin optimized for interior space and comfort, and has optional air suspension that Lucid cheekily calls ‘Zero Gravity’. But how is it to drive? Thomas and James are excited to find out! We hope you enjoy the episode. And then subscribe, silly.

THEY GAVE YOU GUYS THE EXCLUSIVE RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT?!?!?!? Wow that’s a HUGE milestone!!!!
  • @rumikhan5277
You guys are definitely filling the gap that the 'real' top gear left. Thank you and really appreciate your hard work.
  • Lucid truly came out of the gate as a luxury vehicle and not just arbitrarily assigned into the luxury class like another EV brand we all know.

As a mechanical engineering student looking to work with electric vehicles, see a company like lucid take on the EV industry is extremely exciting for me. I'm actually going to apply for an internship with them soon. I love what they are doing, their cars are beautiful, they perform well, the battery range is amazing. Great work!

Anyone else agree that Lucid, as a company, is something that you root for? They are taking EV's so seriously. I hope the company is able to stay afloat and become profitable at some point.

I really wish the best for this company...I was REALLY hoping they would release a "money maker" SUV so they can get funding to continue doing cool stuff like the Sapphire. Looks like they are doing that!! Awesome!!

Car reviews have really come a long way. Throttle House, Hagerty Media, these guys make it so fun and knowledgeable

Hoping Lucid finds success with these vehicles, very eager to see how their tech and driving dynamics trickle down to more affordable models in the future

The front "bench" would be useful for swapping shoes or ski boots. It is always a hassle keeping the dirt/snow out while changing footwear. Also just sitting down after a walk, and enjoying the nature instead of rushing back. Realistically 95% of the time, I would just put a thing in front, so it is a frunk and it is safe storage for valuables, so that people cannot break in without an angle grinder.

Lucid is quickly becoming my favorite EV manufacturer I’m really liking how they’re going

I regularly drive in the Rocky Mountains, so I can tell you with some certainty that seat would get some serious use. There's some gorgeous scenic views you could pull right up to, and pop a squat for 45 minutes just looking at... everything. I'd use it for sure.

Gotta say it looks much much nicer than initial spy photos (which were very underwhelming) I think Lucid got the styling pretty much nailed. Good job Lucid 👍🏻

I’m not an EV guy or an SUV guy but damn that thing is stunning. All aspects of this vehicle come together to make this a seriously well thought out E-SUV
  • Definitely my favourite go to car show now! Superb work Thomas and James. Thanks for making.
  • I am BEYOND happy for you guys! This is amazing! Exclusive?! This is absolutely mind blowing I’m so happy for this channel!!!!
  • @flacht_6
I think it’s a cool look! They have a consistent design across both models. Fingers crossed for a more “base level” model in the future for the rest of us!

I was really iffy on Lucid at first but they are making a real name for themselves. I'm still not an EV person, but I respect what they do. I definitely see the appeal of this car, and if I was in the market for a luxury E-SUV, this would be my preference over a Tesla. Its a bit gimmicky, but so is every EV right now and honestly plenty of gas cars as well. Its quick, luxurious, eventful, and not a bad choice for the target market. Very nice, Lucid.

I actually love this car so much. Design, tech and features seem so effortless to use. Definitely a new dream car.

Awesome to finally see the Lucid Gravity!! Looks really pretty good. Can't wait to see some more in-depth reviews once the thing reaches production. Kinda hope there's an option to ditch the massive piece of glass in the roof. I don't know why manufacturers keep doing that, especially in EVs. Literally nobody wants it, it's going to leak at some point (when, not if), and it adds a ton of weight to the top of the vehicle. Other than that, I really like seeing the Lucid Air design language reflected in the Gravity, the clam-shell hatch, the minimalist light-bar front end, etc. Really cool.
