  • The second cable is likely not broken. Some cables are just for power only while the better ones do power and data. Also they're getting more complicated with complex circuitry in the ends of the plugs, themselves.

Impressive soldering skills, very fine work without tools designed for very fine work! (Single-wire common across LEDs)
  • at 10:16 The nice video is spoiled by the popup of another recommended video, which completely blocks the view of the running video :-(
  • @Mittens4
at 6:31 the usb isnt bad just some cables are meant for charging and others are meant for transferring data because the ones that are meant for charging do not have data wires so the tester is unreliable

is that a drill bit for your soldering tip? if it is , thatis awesome, imma try that
  • @wavemaker54
Can you make something out of a tampon applicator? I see them washed up on the beach everywhere from Bali to the USA. Making something useful out of that discarded plastic waste would be helpful.
  • @B_Invincible
Can you do a video on how to connect 2 computer fans together and then to a USB power cable? Or maybe how to make them faster to be used as an extractor fan
  • @kode4420
A drill bit for a soldering iron tip? I've almost seen everything now. 😀
  • @IrynaPutchenko
this is different cables and it work. If you look at the pinout of the USB port, the signal pins are exactly in the middle. If the cable were broken, the integrity of the electrical circuit would be violated and as a result, your LEDs would not light up.

خیلی خلاقانه و عالی بود مرسی

A drill bit for a soldering iron tip? It is regular, steel drill bit?
  • @Craig-xw7ff
I've never seen an armpit deodouriser ball used in this fashion!!!! 😀
  • @surenbono6063
Note:...some usb cable does not transmit data only for its 5 dcv power..
  • @martinb.770
The second one will trigger one basic charging mode, but not by far test all possible current modes. You get really useful charge/voltage/current tester+logger with small display for a few bucks. The first one is utter bullshit.
