  • First of all, we need to find out who has been playing the Jumanji board game.

Just wrapping my head around the alligators, the snakes, the pumas, some bears, and now there's monkeys. Only in Florida😅

This may not be so funny. These could be escaped lab animals carrying any kind of disease.
  • @MH-pz8wf
The report did not investigate where the monkeys could have possibly come from.

More people illegally owning animals they are not supposed to have. People are taking animals and using them to make $ off videos on YT and other platforms. It's cruel to the animals.

You know there was a movie about a virus spread by monkeys 😳
  • Monekys in Florida. Becky used to live in India and guy with British accent. What a news story. 📰

There are wild groups of them in the ocala forest near silver springs. They are a nuisance to locals and sometimes roam to new areas. Similar to the pythons in the everglades, the Miami iguanas, tribes of peacocks, wild parrots, and wild boars around Disney's swamps. There are critters in florida.

Shortly after moving to South Georgia I saw a dead monkey on the road who had obviously been hit by a vehicle, needless to say I couldn’t believe my eyes. I asked a long time resident if there were wild monkeys in the area and she said that it was possible because many years ago the Tarzan movies were filmed in central Florida and that when they finished filming the animals were just released in the area. I don’t know if it’s true but it doesn’t seem to be out of the realm of possibilities. Has anyone else heard this?

I live near silver springs where they filmed the Tarzan movie in the 30's and you can go on the river and see them everywhere but got to be careful cause the like to throw stuff at you and try to jump on or swim to the boat or whatever you're using to try to get to food cause dumb people feed them.

Those responsible from bringing infected Animals and allowing them to escape should be held accountable for them. Not the Animals fault there just trying to survive.

This isn't too crazy to me, it's Florida after all.
  • They were introduced to sliver springs park in the 40’s as a way to expand tourism to the park . The population became out of control there and now they are expanding their territory. Only natural.
  • These cops need to stop monkeying around and take care of business !
