Ever since my 16 year old daughter committed suicide 5 years ago I have been struggling with anxiety and certain times of year I lose it. It scares me sometimes, the chest pain, the hurt. I miss her so much.

To anyone who finds this: if you are struggling(depression/anxiety/trauma/an entirely different struggle), and you find yourself alone, feeling like there’s no one to talk to, I beg you to have the courage to reach out to someone you trust. Whether it’s a family member, friend, teacher, anyone that you wouldn’t hate to talk to. There are also several things you need to know. I don’t care if you don’t believe my words, I only ask that you understand them. Have faith that it can and will get better…keep fighting and know that you do matter. You are noticed. Your struggles are valid and okay to have. Just please don’t go about it alone. Because you were never alone to begin with. (You are not alone in your struggles, and I hope there are people in your life who are more than willing to help). Getting support from others is something that everyone needs every once in a while. And there is at least one person in this world that cares deeply about you(even if that one person is me, a total stranger on the internet). Hang in there, don’t give up just yet.

I never had someone who would hold my hand when I was at my worst. I always was alone, I had no one, I made it alone. I‘m proud.

"I need you to know I would never be this strong without you." Instant tears when I heard that lyric. When I was struggling with anxiety/depression, my French teacher was there. She made my life seem not-so terrible for the 45 minutes I was in her class. She allowed me to forget about the hard things, and to just have fun. She was one of the few who understood what I was going through. I was strong because of her. People think I'm overreacting when I say she saved my life; but to be honest, I don't know where I'd be, if anywhere, without her. Elle m'a sauvè la vie. She saved my life.

If anyone is even going to read this I hope it makes an impact. Its so sad seeing all these people listening to this and being able to relate to it because it just shows the pain this world has. But for u and ur family and anyone else out there who loves you, you have to stay strong and keep on pushing through until you find your way out. I know it can be hard because I myself don't like living in this world full of hate, and sorrow. I really want some people here to realize that there are many people that love you and that you should appreciate yourself living here. Ur always loved my someone ❤️ 😢🥺

Fun fact: Zoe weeks wrote this song for a teacher. When Zoe was having panic attacks, anxiety attacks and when she was stressed, her teacher was the only one who cared. She wrote this as a thank you to her teacher.

She was there when i need her the most, she is the reason I'm okay and alive right now, she just went back to her country after 20 yrs of taking care of me and my siblings, she was there from when i was born till now.
