Unbelievable, what terrible treatment from a so called professional. I don’t believe for a moment it was an error of judgment, she simply got caught. My heart goes out to all the other Horses that have been ‘trained’ by her. She deserves to be dropped from the team, it’s no different concerning Jockeys and their use of the whip, we need these governing bodies to protect all animals.

That’s horrendous. An error of judgement.??? She should never be allowed to own any animals again. The horse was clearly in pain. Shame on her. I hope she is truly shocked and embarrassed by her actions when she watches the video.

I am absolutely disgusted seeing this no animal should be treated like this i am a dog trainer you will never get the best from a animal by brutality you get the best from animals by asking them in the correct way to train them the person hold the accountability for this and i am shocked that Charlotte Dujardin has acted in such a manner she should now be banned from the sport and owning horses as dog owners are banned from owning them when cruelty takes place
