Your such a role model. I never get bored of your talking. I really take in what you say and it changes my life!

Just wanted to say that being a mother is the best change you will make in your life. Of course things will be different and you will need to find a new " balance" but you will love it. Things will fall into place and it's a beautiful thing. Best of luck to you! Xo

I have definitely struggled with perfectionism... my friends claim I'm too hard on myself... and when more than one mentioned it, I now believe that I am way too hard on myself. Self love hasn't been easy for me, but as I get older, and learn new ways on living health consciously (physically and mentally), while managing my time wisely, it has opened up another side of myself... which is just me growing/blossoming. It's nice to realize it while you're in the moment.. and it's also nice knowing that God is with us through it all. Thank you for this series, Nikki! You are a bright soul, keep on keeping on! With love from Miami, FL.

Haha my husband does all the dishes too (and a lot of the cooking)! Lucky us, right? I've been loving how to be happy January! 😊💗

First of all the beginning of the video was hilarious but my favorite part would have to be when you were "blabbering" I have a really hard time with balance in my life as well! I'm in cosmetology school right now so YouTube can be hard to keep up with at times but I'm so scared that I wont be able to do it when I get a full time job! It's my true passion in life and I don't want to ever stop doing it! What you said about balance really helped and put things into perspective! It also made me feel a lot better knowing I'm not the only one who thinks that way! Thank you for that Nikki! I truly appreciate this! <3
  • I have totally been loving your conversations after your videos, I definitely struggle with being a perfectionist and that has led to some very harmful things in my life, I'm trying to find balance as you know its a working progress! I would love to hear more about how you intentionally bring balance into your life!

When you become a mom, your life will change forever BUT you really still do get to do what you love and you will have this added bonus of having Gods biggest blessing smiling at you every morning. It trumps everything.. It's an amazing feeling. When my baby giggles at me as I'm looking at her, there is no greater feeling. My friend who is pregnant told me last night "Well, I'm afraid I'm not going to be a good mom" and it resonated with me because we ALL felt that way before we had kids. I was afraid I wouldn't be good enough. Mom guilt starts early, but I try to remember "guilt is not from God". Guilt is from the enemy, and it's a lie. You will be a fantastic mom, your career will flourish, and raising kids is one of the highest callings a woman can have. And at the same time, it's so momentary. They will grow up so fast and you will be back to just you and Dan again. You will fall more in love with Dan when you see him hold your baby; it had made me fall so much more deeply in love with my husband. I promise it will be wonderful if you have faith! Fear of the next stage of life is made easier when you remember our God is greater and always provides. He will provide energy, resources, and love for you and Dan when you become parents. I made a few videos on life with a baby & my YouTube channel/filming, actually. One is called "Meet my Daughter" and the other one is called "How I Film YouTube Videos in 2015" and they highlight how my life has changed, but is so much more amazing than I could have imagined. It will all work out amazingly! I hope to speak soon! Bless you Emily
  • I've been struggling a lot with anxiety, I've been having a lot of panic attacks. All this has been taken a toll on my school work. I learned I need to stop worrying about the future and just make today matter. This video helped a lot, and although it will take time to so call "control"' my anxiety, I felt that this video really gave me inspiration. Thank you Nikki, I can not express how much this has helped me. I need to just go with the flow for now on.

Nikki, your afterthoughts and "ramblings" are always so encouraging! I have always struggled with being a perfectionist and felt as though my home or career or social life had to look a certain way. My husband always trys to bringing me back to reality and remind me that tomorrow will be another day with another set of challenges. There is no point in worrying about things-- just take care of today. Thank you for reminding me that I DON'T have to have it all together!

The end of this video made me cry so much with regards to perfectionism and handling balancing my life. It means a lot to know that there are people who feel exactly how i do. Thank you for this. Whether you see this comment or not just know it meant a lot, thank you!!!

This totally resonates with me! When you said you were talking with your friend about how bad you felt that you could not keep a workout schedule and your friend told you to stop thinking that way because it's not healthy and that you have more important priorities. I have totally been feeling this way and being very hard on myself because I was trying to keep a workout schedule but other things were getting in the way. Anyways it was really nice that you shared this conversation because that really helped me. Thank you! Love your videos! <3

I definitely am the person who struggles with starting, because I'm so nervous of messing up if I do. It felt really good to hear you validate that feeling in this video. Thanks Nikki :)

Your "blabbery outro" has seriously opened up my eyes. The entire how to be happy January has been helping a lot. I actually thought I was the only person to really ever struggle with being a perfectionist and beating myself for things I don't do. The past year I was pretty hard on myself until having watching your videos. I've gone back to working out everyday, I've gotten into morning and nightly routines. I've followed up with meditating, reading, and even hopped on The Bible app as well.  I just wanted to say thank you for being an amazing person and I'm glad that you make videos like these. It has really helped me so far. Can't wait for more :) - With love, Maricel (Hope to meet you one day!)
  • @db6990
I love how you're different than most popular you tubers, in the fact that you "blabber" in your videos. I really enjoy hearing you talk about things that aren't always about makeup or clothes. You truly inspire me! Xoxo

Hi Nikki! I'm just applying to university and the "real world" as my mom calls it is really starting to show, and I'm a bit okay not a bit, more like an absolute  organizer/perfectionist. My life needs order for me to function properly but with growing up I'm finding that my schedule does not always go as I plan and knowing that I'm not crazy and one of the only gals like this is super comforting! Love you and God Bless!
  • @SuitestThing
I absolutely love how raw and real your videos are. I have been struggling a lot with finding my balance so this video really hit home for me! Keep them coming!
  • @Bla274
You know what I would LOVE? You making a closet clear out video! They're always so inspiring!!
  • @brookeelle6879
I absolutely loved the message at the end. I've had a lot of those same thoughts. What you said was so true! So inspirational
  • @schou0101
Thanks Nikki for being so personal! You're probably the most honest and open youtuber I watch and it makes me feel like I can trust you even though you don't know me :P I think you should definitely dive into the topic of therapists and your experience with that. Its been something I've been thinking about! Thanks again for the quality vid!
