I like how there's those rare moments where Sonic show's he actually cares/has feelings for Amy. Such as in Unleashed, when he gets really upset when she doesn't know it's him. He can't even look her in the eyes, because it hurt him that bad.

I love how unique Sonic and Amy's relationship is compared to many other characters' in other media. I've always loved them since I was small, and I find their kind hearted, well meaning, compassionate and adventuring ways to be simply inspiring. Wholesome kindred spirits, as free as the wind.

Amy is sweet and according to actual comics and whatnot, he likes her back just doesn’t know how to tell her. So depending on the timeline Sonamy fans get their wish. I quite like the ship but some take it a bit far. The options in the Chronicle games where Sonic can be extremely nice to her and agree to date her is very sweet btw
