This is a video of me exploring the Bahamas. It's my first trip to the Caribbean after acquiring a New Citizenship, and I show you what Nassau, Bahamas, is like, I also show you some unknown parts of the city. I try out the food and explore the cruise ship industry while sharing my experience exploring this beautiful travel destination.

As a proud Bahamian and teacher who has lived here my entire life, this is the first video I have ever watched about my country that I absolutely love and was so accurate!! You truly took the time to immerse yourself and do research and for that I thank you! You just got yourself a new subscriber! 🥳 Much love from the 242🇧🇸 Ps. Please visit again soon! 💙💛🖤
  • As a native, born, bred and gone dead Bahamian thank you so very much for showing off our wonderful little country! You took the time to really try and show who we are and yet, there is still so much more for you to see! You must come back and explore some of our family islands.

Hey @Tayo Aina I'm from The Bahamas, we have a book written by Cleveland Eneas named Bain Town where he records some of the historical information he learned from his grandfather who was an Ex-slave. Many Bahamians are also Yoruba.

Love how Tayo freely promotes black owned businesses whenever he travels 🔥👏🏽👏🏽❤️
  • It’s how this video taught me a few things about my own country 😭
  • @HaleyChain-vw8rr
good to see a predominantly black country that is orderly and chilled

It’s almost like I’m the one that visited Bahamas 😅 Story well told 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Aside from his friend getting bit by a Lion, Birdman is a vibe 🤣🤣
  • I’m from the Bahamas and my late auntie was an Historian. She opened up the first African Bahamian African American African Caribbean Museum Heritage Research & Civil Rights Centre. Which is located in the ghetto where she grow up . My auntie helped with the protest in order for those folks to be able to sell on the fish dock. The Bahamas has a lot of great history , I love my culture .

As an American who is 48% Igbo Nigerian and 8% Ghanaian, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I just returned from a 7 day Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. The Caribbean has a sense of peace that's hard to put into words.
  • I live in The Bahamas and I watch your videos all the time! Welcome!! There are other islands as well, not all are as busy and expensive as New Providence (Nassau). Air BnB's are very affordable and beautiful. I hope you get to explore more of my country🙏🏽🇧🇸 It's a beautiful video. Welcome!!
  • @UzomaAgha
*"You're my sister." **"Hello, my brother." 😂😂😂 Nice vibes

Did anyone else keep an eye on the bottom left of the screen? When Tayo's budget entered negative/red I was like, "My man is making a loss to bring us dope travel content!" Respect! Keep clocking up the miles with that shiny passport of yours dude. One love.

This guy always does a good job in his videos. Depiction of Nassau is good & honest and i like that he included a visit to Bain town which is basically a local ghetto. Most people never show that. Its not all picture perfect beaches & crystal clear water! His Namibia video and visit to where the ocean meets the desert was AWESOME!
  • We love our African brothers and sisters , hope you enjoy your stay here in the beautiful Caribbean! 🇳🇬🇬🇭🇿🇦🇹🇿🇸🇩🇸🇳🇪🇹🇨🇩🇦🇴🇪🇬🇰🇪🇺🇬🇩🇿🇨🇲🇲🇦

Birdman cracked me up 😂😂 1 for you, 1 for me and you pay 😂😂

I began traveling to the Bahamas in the 1990's and married a Bahamian and lived in Nassau for about 3 years in the 2000;s. My favorite part of the island, besides the food of course, was the water! I would stare at the ocean for hours. It draws you because it is so clear and beautiful. Coming from the Great Lakes in Ohio US, I have traveled throughout the islands but, to me, the Bahamas has them all beat when it comes to water views. As the country grows, I hope they do not lose that, as other countries have.
