Top 10 PS1 SHMUPS

That's a really good list of shmups on the PS1 you got there, I'm especially a huge as fan of Einhander (my favorite shmup on the PS1 as well as my favorite shmup next to Radiant Silvergun). Seriously though, Einhander is basically the best Gundam shmup that is anything but Gundam, and the Makoto Kobayashi-esque mecha designs are just the icing on the cake.

Great video! I always love all of your hilarious memes and references. Dang though, how do so many of these games have such awesome soundtracks? I was especially digging the song you used from Zanac x Zanac.

Finally got around to watching. Amazing video. Just picked up like new copies of Raiden DX, Zanac x Zanac, and Einhander per your recommendation. I already own the Saturn ports of most the others on this list. I’ll Probably get Sexy Parodius on PSX or the Saturn soon too! Thanks for the amazing recommendations, once again. Keep these up. Wow the number one spot caught me off guard, often heard or read that the ps1 (and saturn for that matter) version of * game name censored for spoiler reasons* weren't all that good or at least compared to the arcade versions. And yeah ps1 indeed has a great shmup library and you did mention that you couldn't fit in all the good stuff. Still surprised r type delta and espcially gradius gaiden didn't make the cut! Strikers 1945 2 is one of my personal favorites and maybe better than sonic wings? Same developer (or at least mostly the same people making it). But (and maybe i should have started with this :D ) happy that a new vid is out and even with the above minor nitpicks or maybe better put just my personal preferences, i indeed enjoyed it! Looking forward to your next vid, but def understand life does take many interesting turns and i might have to be patient. But the content is very much appreciated!

Gurentai, Dodonpachi, Thunder Force V, and Raystorm are top class timeless classics.

I paid $300 for Harmful Park about 6 years ago and I’m happy I did. It’s one of the most expensive games in my collection now.

Would love to see just a top 25 PS1 Shmup List as a plain list since, well, videos are tough. I’d like to see what I have missed 😮

Most of these games are practically unaffordable. But having this list is great to be able to track down the ROMS. Parodius is the only franchise ive splurged on so far, for schumps, all japanese versions too, just could not afford the US.
