RESPECTFUL PARENTING: When FAMILY Disagrees With Your Parenting Style

I H.A.T.E.D. when my mom just said, "Because I said so"... I vowed I'd never do that to my kid. I actually like when my daughter asks "Why". It shows she's actually THINKING.

My baby is only 7 months old so we haven’t dove into discipline that much but my partner doesn’t think gentle parenting works and that the children just walk all over you, no matter how hard I try to explain, I think it’s going to be a case where he will have to see it in action that it does work. I am worried that my child will favour me more if he doesn’t implement the same and goes with the more dominant approach tho!

Hi !!! Soooooo i found you on tiktok and when I was watching you my boyfriend and son were in living room with me. I was watching alot of the the disciplining part. That was two days ago and my boyfriend was like you should watch more of that lady who was disciplining their kid cuz I don't think the way I'm doing it is okay. And I thought to myself woww he was actually listening to what I was watching so now I'm a new subscriber and I'm so excited to have new ways and healthy ways of disciplining my child with my partner with me on the same board.
