Wow! God Tier! You are way too nice. I think I'm more "Should Try" only because I think a GOD should make you a lot more than I am making but yes, I am pretty transparent. You are pretty spot on with my strategy. Thanks for including me in your video man.

Hi Shimmy, FYI - Dylan's course is $2,500 without coaching but it can cost more than 5K-10K with unlimited coaching (depending on the length of time you choose). The reason why I know is I was one of her students. In my opinion, her course is good if you like driving your own traffic through social media (which I don't like to do) and if you have a handmade business (she's really good with strategies on that because her shop is handmade). I have a print on demand shop and I struggle mostly with design and her course focuses mainly on how to run a business as a whole and they don't teach you how to design, etc...If someone is new to print on demand, and have a limited budget, I recommend Cassiy Johnson, Heather Studio and Simply Shawna (you didn't mention Shawna here but she's great) for free content. I agree with you, I would NOT spend that kind of money on a course on etsy.
  • Shimmy I had to come back here just to thank you. My husband randomly saw this video & sent it to me, and we were like “why arnt we following this guy & the God tier already?” which led to us binge watching Chris’s 21 hour Ecom course this weekend. It was infinitely better than a $1200 course we’d bought from someone not even on your list. We’re now massive fans of you & Chris, thanks for the new path you set us on!
  • Shimmy you should add Shawna , she shares good tips about selling on etsy. I do follow all of them . But your analysis is an eye opener. Thanks
  • Philip is also incredibly generous with his content and process of creation

She should be put at HELL NO! All the comments on Reddit were true! She's charging $3500 for her course which is not worth a penny! Wasted my $3500!!!

Hi Shimmy, Thank you kindly for creating this video. I have been very concerned about who I should be following lately. I appreciate your time and efforts that you've put into place to research these people. You are honest and straight-forward with your opinions. You have answered a lot of concerns that I’ve had regarding a lot of these people. Also, reading the thread of comments from other people on your channel has brought forth more information and eliminated some POD gurus that I’ve been wondering about as well. I’m looking forward to watching the upcoming round 2 of Exposing POD gurus strategies.

Philip, Juna are my all time go-to channels, love their professionalism and kindness so much. Also, make a round2- Shawna, Mandy, Hannah, and Christina (CU Online) are also wonderful ladies to learn from! And I guess, we pretty much like you too ;-) 😀
  • Great video! Surprised that Mey isn't included. I think she's great and one of the best. I'd like your take on her
  • Yay!! I am so glad you did this! Just what I needed this morning. I was really dragging today and I don't like coffee, but this helped me get going. Love, love Juna!! <3 Dylan is HELL to the NO for me. :( I followed her for awhile, but feel like her main purpose is to get people to buy her EXORBITANTLY overpriced course more than anything, not trying to help people first, like many of the others on your list do. And some of her strategies are.. bewildering at best. Love Ryan too..and he has a course, but I feel like he tries to help way more than he tries to get people into his course. Very Nice list! Well done. :-) Have a lovely day.

This video was genuinely so helpful. I really appreciate that you'd openly share and discuss these other teachers who are essentially your "competitors." I personally came into the POD space through Joe Robert's content. I've really agreed with his strategy of Shopify + social media, and it also made sense to me that selling higher-priced products (not t-shirts) could make it easier to be profitable with paid ads. But now that I know about you and Chris Heckman, I'll have to dig deeper into how both of you make paid traffic work with t-shirts, too. In any case, I'm with you on building your own brand/store. I sold a previous online business, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me financially.
  • @gavkinn
Thanks, Shimmy this is awesome. I'm 69 and have just started out on RB, TP, Society6, and Zazzel. I've been doing t-shirts and patterns for the past four months. I'm happy you have Juna up top I trust him. Can you do one on Mey Aroyo I love her honesty.
  • The 2 people that I watch every week are Kara and Starla Moore. They go live every week and give an update on what’s going on with Etsy, and answer any questions people have. Which I like because I’m horrible at keeping up
  • @SCWynne-ie1ey
I love, Juna! He’s so generous with his information and knowledge.
  • @yoyoyo3439
Could you maybe make a video on what tasks or things that must be done daily to keep up with the shop? Is it only about the marketing aspect + making more design. A good day of what can be done to increase success would really help understand the workload, thank you!
  • @P-Funk69
I like Joe and I have to say honestly that he’s really improved over time. Years ago I didn’t like his content as much bc it was too salesy and aggressive for my taste, but now over time I like it a lot. He’s softened in his delivery and I am taking his free printify course and paid for an inexpensive course for fb ads. I find him to be a great teacher and paces himself well. I think his strategy is worth considering to not rely on marketplaces etc.
  • Shimmy, I've been following one of your lower ranking sellers for a few years now. This was actually a little heartbreaking, but eye opening as well. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't making any headway in sales, and was just trusting the process. After your video though it made perfect sense. I have lost so much time doing the wrong thing. I really appreciate your transparency and you've definitely just gained a new subscriber and follower. I'm going to hit your videos hard, I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks man.

Great analysis. I liked your video on "Exposing This YouTubers Print on Demand Business"
