Pokemon's character designer Ken Sugimori started to get ambitious for Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. By the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes his mind was fully lost and, we can infer, replaced by a rogue AI.

Brendan’s redesign shoes look more akin to track cleats than actual shoes, which for anything longer than a mile are incredibly uncomfortable to walk in.

I was gifted a pair of no-lace work shoes once and I nearly threw food onto a coworker tripping out of them WAIT THAT'S NOT BRENDAN'S HAIR??? I was tempted to comment on each character's odd outfits but they were just so egregiously illogical that I just wanted to hear your take on it instead. For me this gen's fashion is 10/10 WHAT?

You were saying that Zinnia doesn't have a belt, and should've had wore one. But the belt was on her leg! It was twisted to fit on her leg and to hold her Mega Stone! That's crazy!

I'm surprised no mention of the thigh holes on Shelly. Like I get it some clothes are designed for fashion or just to be sexy but... What woman would actually wear that much exposed thigh on pants honestly? Like the shoulders... I've seen shirts like that but never pants that have a thigh hole with what is essentially side boob for her butt. I've seen dresses slit that high, and short skirts but never pants that are wrapped to squeeze thighs through a hole in them.
