While you won't win competitions with this miniature, the paint job is certainly an infinite improvement over an unpainted model. I would be interested to see this little chap in a unit formation within a terrain setting. Ultra close-ups are not needed, but a general feel for how your minis look when gaming. I know I have too much OCD to start painting a mini and leave it in a "viewed for tabletop play" (2 m), or to how I appreciate this stance, as a "near enough is good enough" quality. I have a habit of examining my minis' details and like to have everything as perfect as I can get, with the level of patience I can muster. My view is not a good attitude to have if I ever want to see my collection painted - I know this! I see my friends paint their units in a similar style to yours and mine are still unpainted, or get half done before I am distracted by something else. I also have a habit of batch painting. Maybe I should take a leaf out of Vince Venturella's book. In a recent video he commented that he doesn't batch paint anymore, focusing on a single mini at a time. So, gratz to completing a miniature fully painted to a standard you like. I look forward to more videos, but no pressure.
